Peter Ashe Review

I had an excellent experience with Peter Ashe real estate services! Specifically, I dealt with Ami Hen, a consummate professional and all around good person. Mr. Hen accepted me as a client despite me having a rather unorthodox and challenging situation.  He worked efficiently and professionally to secure my apartment and pulled hard for me to get Management to allow several exceptions. He was reachable well into the late evening hours, answering all phone calls and emails.  My lease was finalized within days of viewing the apartment and even after I moved in, Mr. Hen answered my calls and addressed issues that, in all fairness, should have gone to Management.

While Mr. Hen clearly understands the business side he also has a great personal touch and related to me on a very real human level. He dealt with me not simply as another client but as a real person with real life uniquely personal circumstances; that was the piece de resistance! An added bonus is the Peter Ashe office, done up in beautifully minimalist post-modern decor, I love loved visiting!

The Biltmore Review

I go to Columbia, but many of us dislike living in the bubble that is Morningside Heights. So we got apartments. I was in the newy built, green Khalahari.  It has amazing views, and nice amenities, and everyone was impressed. That is, until we visited my friend Nancy in her apartment.

We walk in and are greeted by not just one, but two floor to ceiling windows/walls overlooking downtown and the Hudson. I neary died from the view and plotted how to throw a party without her knowing. Then she took us down to the gym, which is better than any gym membership, hands down.

We went onto the rooftop lounge, where creepy old men asked to rub us down, then the rest of the lounge, which has a movie/theatre room, library, kitchen, game room, buffet and the doormen are hot. I am now trying to change my lease so i too can live in the lap of luxury.

New Heights Realty Review

New Heights Realty opened its doors for business in 1992. The goal, from the beginning, was to specialize in serving the real estate needs of the Inwood community, as well as Upper Manhattan, Marble Hill and Riverdale.

Our focus is primarily residential, but we handle commercial leasing and investment properties, as well. The New Heights' staff is made up of long-time area residents who appreciate everything Inwood has to offer, especially the sense of community that so many people feel living here.

We're especially proud to have become an integral part of the neighborhood. It's gratifying to know that when people come to explore Inwood for the first time, and ask residents on the street about finding a home in the area, they are regularly referred to New Heights Realty. More often than not, they are given the name of one of our staff members.

LaMatto Properties Review

LaMatto Properties saved us! My boyfriend and I spent a few weeks trying to find a place to live in the area using craigslist- looking for no broker's fee apartments. Of course we didn't find anything that was right for us, and by the time we turned to LaMatto we were afraid all the apartments for the beginning of the month were going to be taken, since it was just a week away!

Misha walked with us to several different apartments, and helped us figure out what we were really looking for. He showed us a few really great options within our price range, and was totally willing to go back with us over and over again when we were indecisive. He was also really great about us calling/texting him last minute and asking if we could meet up and 'look at that one apartment just one more time'! In the end they helped us find a place in a great location, near the subway, for a price that we were really excited about.

It was also really clear that they knew the neighborhood, and had been living and working here for a long time. Whenever we were in their office people from the neighborhood would just pop their heads in to say hello and have a chat.- A local perspective is definitely the way to go on finding a place to live, and they completely offered that 100%. I would definitely recommend LaMatto to anyone looking for a nice place to live in Williamsburg!

Jmkbk Review

Before Liam, I had never had a positive experience with a broker.  In fact, so negative were my past experiences that I swore I'd never use one again.  What was so nice about interacting with Liam is that he actually _provided a valuable service_ and made me feel like I was actually getting value from the money I paid him.  Like, since I was paying him, his job was to make my life easier and my moving process smoother.

He didn't waste any of our time with bs, he was flexible in meeting us at a time that was convenient for us, he was upfront with all the information about the apartment (the photos in the post were real, accurate, full of information), seemed genuinely knowledgeable about the neighborhood and the building, and was completely nice and straightforward to deal with.  Shocking, right?  I love that in one of his postings he took a photo of the laundry room with a big "OUT OF ORDER" sign posted on the washer, rather than taking down the sign before shooting the photo.  He's not interested in wasting your time or his own with fake listings and misleading information filtering.

It seems like he represents really nice apartments and has access to really quality housing stock.  I would highly recommend him.

Park Millennium Review

My sister rented an apartment at the Park Millennium earlier this year. I recently moved back to Chicago so I stayed with her until I was able find a place of my own. Honestly, I would have loved to stayed at the Park Millennium but it is a little bit out of my price range. The building is beautiful, the hallways and ammenities are always clean, the access to the Pedway is awesome , there is recycling, and the front desk staff is amazing! That reason alone is why I wished I could have rented a unit here! The ladies are so nice and sweet but very professional. if you are considering the building for your next home, you won't be disappointed!

Winthrop Properties Review

I have lived in two of Ardmore Winthrop's many properties over the past two years. I have loved both very much, and miss living there! The management is wonderful, and actually gets to know you and help you out with your questions or concerns on a timely manner. Parking in the area isn't great for street parking, yet they do offer garage or alley parking for a extra charge. Most apartments have most the utilities included which helps a lot!  The maintenance crew is always friendly and helps resolve any issues as soon as they can. You won't go wrong renting with them.
